Windowsill connection variations for ISO-BLOCO ONE
Multi-functional sealing tapes are being used more and more in modern building joint seals. The side and upper sealing levels are ideal joint edges and sealing areas. The lower sealing layers at the windowsill connection place higher demands on planning. Geometric projections are defined as a problem, but the increasingly heavy load-transferring elements in particular have high demands. Load-transferring regulations and sealants must work in combination with each other
- The 4-sided use of ISO-BLOCO ONE
Use of an adjustment anchor for load transfer and adjustment. Possible flaws next to the brackets must be sealed after the tape has expanded using ISO-TOP Flex-adhesive XP. Any sealing tape protruding from the external sides must be trimmed back to the outside edge of the profile. This will avoid installation problems when it comes to the external windowsill.
- The 3-sided use of ISO-BLOCO ONE and base 9or sill) sealing using ISO-CONNECT INSIDE FD construction connection film<\/strong>
2.1 Fitting the film under the sealing tape at the lower left corner
2.2 Load-transferring using packing blocks
2.3 Bonding the film over the expanded ISO-BLOCO ONE using ISO-TOP FLEX-ADHESIVE XP or PA (red)
- The 4-sided use of ISO-BLOCO ONE, the packing blocks are relieved and subsequently sealed with ISO-TOP FLEX-ADHESIVE XP.
3.1 Sealing tape is installed round the corner and up to the packing block (black).
3.2 Another piece of sealing tape (excess 1 cm) is inserted between the packing blocks. After the tape has expanded the interfaces / flaws are sealed up to the packing blocks using ISO-TOP FLEX-ADHESIVE (red).
The 4-sided use of ISO-BLOCO ONE, the packing blocks are relieved and additionally sealed using construction connection film.
4.1 Before installation, a film strip is attached to the windowsill connection profile.
4.2 After the sealing tape has expanded, the film cloth are sealed using ISO-TOP FLEX-ADHESIVE XP (red).
For all the variations, you must make sure that any flaws at transition points or corners are sealed using ISO-TOP FLEX-ADHESIVE XP after the ISO-BLOCO ONE tape has expanded.
